The Importance Of Volunteering In Community Service

Volunteering in my community services programs for various activities has been the most important and influential thing that I can offer to my community. It has allowed me to show honestly, integrity, and hard work. Volunteering far supersedes financial gain since time has the ability to expand one’s perception of availability. Activities such as volunteering at the local food bank, trash pick-up, or mentoring at elementary schools are considered meaningful volunteering activities, which I have been involved in over the past two years. Volunteering is renowned for skill development and is often intended to promote goodness. This all starts with the foundation of a persons thoughts. Which soon turn into actions, which change to habits, which become your character and finally, your destiny. Everyone in this world can better their community. We all have different gifts and talents. We all need to use our abilities faithfully in serving others; not just for our own personal enjoyment. Everyone has a talent whether they know it or not; many people simply take time to discover what they excel at. Even as you seek to discover your gift, if you see a need or opportunity for that matter, look to meet it. You may even find gifts in areas of yourself you might not have been aware of. I believe that this is what volunteering has shown me and I highly recommend others to take this opportunity. Hence, everyone looks forward to providing a better life to the children. The Australian Government has also devised policies, several of them, to secure their future. The Early Learning Association of Australia has devised the Free Policies for the Early Childhood Sector (Guralnick Bruder, 2016). The Early Years Learning Framework helps in equipping the early childhood educators in working towards the extension and enriching the learning of children, right from their birth to at least five of their growing years till they are admitted in a school (Nicaise, 2012). It is necessary to provide for children to have a healthy childhood and this can only be brought about by supporting them with proper care and education to them. Several policies exist aiming at the wellbeing of the children such as Asthma Policy Childrens Service Model Policy, Diabetes Policy, Nutritional and Physical Activity Policy , Sun Protection Policy, Road Safety Policy, and many more (Robertson Doyle-Jones, 2015). This study concentrates on the Dawson Street Child Care Co-Operative Policy which deals with early childhood inclusion policies. Another policy has been newly determined and discussed in the following sections. Critical Aspects of an Existing Policy The Dawson Street Child Care Co-Operative (DSCCC) Policy aims at formulating values, guidelines as well as strategies based on the following concepts which have to be addressed when dealing with children, such as, gender equity, inclusion, multiculturalism and preventing heterosexism and homophobia (Cheeseman Fenech, 2012). From the gender equitys aspect, without any sort of limitations based on the gender of the children, every child is asked to take part in activities as per their own interests. The staff is sensitized in order not to have sexist behavior towards the children by organizing staff development programs (Dalkilic Vadeboncoeur, 2016). The language used by the DSCCC is child inclusive and further devise information projects that helps the parents in understanding issues on socialization and child development. From the inclusion aspect of the society, the individuality of the child is taken into account and his needs are catered to (Fenech, Giugni Bown, 2012). It aims at facilitating the support towards children with additional or special needs. The child support groups are designed as such that they meet the needs of these children and during such sessions the privacy policy is practiced. The parents have the right to decide what to share and what not to regarding their child while participating in the child support group meetings (Guralnick Bruder, 2016). From the multiculturalism aspect, the child is encouraged to develop his self-esteem based on his familys linguistic and ethnic heritage. Sensitizing the children in accepting the diversity among people that surrounds him and develop in him a tolerant attitude is also part of this aspect which is stated by the DSCCC policy (Knaus, 2015). The children are also encouraged to use their native tongue frequently and promote the awareness of learning some other language too. From the aspect of prevention of heterosexism and homophobia, the policy aims at preventing references from a heterosexist po int of view (Nicaise, 2012). The program should treat every child equally even if they belong to lesbian or gay parents and explain the idea of rainbow families to the children. The benefits of diversity are explained to them through this policy. DSCCC is very effective in helping the children with the several issues that they face during early childhood (Raban Kilderry, 2016). The aspects they cover are important as these are the values that will help them build judgmental skills to assess the right from the wrong. The policy is mostly effective as they take regular feedbacks from the staff as well as the parents to assess its effectiveness (Robertson Doyle-Jones, 2015). The only drawback of this policy is that they do not take into account the idea of promoting health among the children. Early childhood is a molding perod when the body is developed. The policy should make efforts of organizing campaigns and projects that will help in teaching the parents the lifestyle and eating habits that they need to follow for the wellbeing of the child (Shonkoff Fisher, 2013). Self Determined Inclusion Policy In order to frame a policy, it needs to follow the structured headings: determination of a policy, relevant background, legislation applicable, resources, key practices and framing a checklist (Shonkoff Fisher, 2013). The self-determined inclusion policy deduced is called, A Person-Centered Approach for the Wellbeing of the Children. The relevant background is provided by the pre-established facts that the first five growing years of a child is most important in his life. During this period, most of the part of significant development of the brain takes place. Therefore, it is important to build a foundation, which would concentrate on the health, behavioral development and learning aspect of the child (Stone, 2013). The emotional security aspect also has to be established with a person-centered approach of the parents. During the same time, a child learns to build relationships with adults and it is important to for them to establish them with trust. This policy relies heavily on the legislations as stated by the Early Years of Learning Framework as well as the National Quality Standard. The Early Years Learning Framework was designed by the Council of Australian Government, was to help the educators of the children to assist them with chances to meet up to their true potential and also help them in developing a groundwork for the children in their successful learning process (Dalkilic Vadeboncoeur, 2016). Based on the framework, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child was passed. Based on the convention, it can be assessed that every child has a right to education, which is helpful in laying the foundation from the educational aspect, and helps them in increasing their ability to become tolerant and have respect for their respective families and towards people belonging to other communities (Tayler et al., 2016). The National Quality Standard aims at communicating a national approach towards the level of education and care directed at all Australians. The Standard consists of various fields related to childhood policy and aims at assessing their quality based on the services provided. The fields are: program and practice related to education, wellbeing health and safety of children, physical environment, improving the arrangements of staff, assessing relationships, and partnerships assessed between families as well as communities and the management of leadership and service (Cheeseman Fenech, 2012). The resources that involve the policy, providing with early childhood education is available from several sources such as the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), Zero to Three, NACCRRA (National Association of Child Care Research and Referral Agencies), National Association for Family Child Care and several others (Fenech, Giugni Bown, 2012). All these bodies offers information regarding the development of the child in his early years and The key practices involve the practicing of appropriate steps targeting the care and education of the children. Careful attention needs to be paid the needs of the children is one of the key practices under the policy heading. Along with it, new strategies and interventions need to be developed for devising better approach methods to provide with quality care (Sumsion Grieshber, 2012). Another important key practice is to provide with a nurturing environment to the childhood so that he feels safe and protected. The checklist was framed based on the following queries, such as, considering the suggestions made by the parents while framing the policy; after all, it is their children who are involved (Tayler et al., 2013). The second in the checklist refer to the involvement of the community, which plays a significant role during the growing years of the child. The third escalation on the checklist states the importance of providing quality education to the children, supported by a caring environment. The fourth point relates to appointing efficient healthcare workers who would help in strengthening the early childhood years with proper educational and emotional support (Knaus, 2015). The fifth option raises the point of easy access to the childcare facility. Certain times, parents fail to meet the requirements in taking care of their children and during those times, it is helpful if the childcare facility is accessible. The sixth escalation has been raised to manage the financial troubles that the family face while approaching a childcare facility. Hence, childcare costs are to be made affordable (Raban Kildberry, 2016). Conclusion Early childhood is considered a significant period in the life of a child. During these growing up years, they have to be nurtured in a way so that they feel safe and secure in the midst of the people they are growing up with. At times, they are in a position where the only people they rely on, are the ones who inflict harm upon them. In such a case, these Early Childhood Policies are important in order to safeguard the interests of these children. After all every child deserves a quality upbringing which prepares them to face the world. Legalization Of Marrijuana Introduction In 1620, the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock bringing with them thousands of gallons of beer and other types of liquor. This was believed to be enough for them to sell or trade with the natives in return for products like a body relaxer. The Native Americans introduced the Pilgrims to tobacco and other forms of drugs such as Marijuana. By the 1900's, the country noticed marijuana, a psychoactive drug, was dangerous and needed to be controlled. Later, between the 1960's and 1970's, the United States found itself in another period of drug intolerance. From then on the government started to crack down and began to embrace drug enforcement. The government spends an average of 2.3 billion dollars each year on drug enforcement. Also each year over 400,000 people die in the United States through drug crime and over doses. So many people talk about Marijuana like it is not even a drug. In my opinion, I think that more people smoke weed then smoke cigarettes. The government says that it is a gateway drug , but most of the people that I know that do it have never tried another drug other then marijuana. Throughout this report I will give you different views from different people on the legalization of Marijuana. The Youths Point of View I interviewed ten people for this report and they mostly all had the same opinion on this subject. Nine out of the ten people I interviewed said that the government should legalize marijuana. Most of them had an attitude of Why not legalize it? You can get it anywhere at any time. It is not like you have to go far to find it. Just ask a few people and sooner or later you will either find some or be pointed in the right direction to find some. They also made a good point that if it is legalized it might actually turn some people away from using it. If it were legal, there would be no more adventure or fun in breaking the law to try to get some, which some people like more than actually doing the drug. The one person that said the government should not legalize it also had a few good points. She said that if it were legalized, there would be a lot more cases of cancer each year. There will also be some people that if they do legalize it, they will use it excessively. Those people may use all their money to buy marijuana and become burn-outs. She also said that the government would not legalize it because they tend to make more money off of it illegally. When the police make the drug busts most of the money goes to the government anyway. The Governments Point of View According to the recent Gallup Poll, almost one-half of Americans report that either they, someone in their family, or a close friend has used illegal drugs. Twenty-eight percent of the one half characterized the drug use as moderate, while twenty-nine percent described it as a serious addiction. More than half of those who reported knowing someone with a moderate or serious drug problem were living in a household with incomes of $35,000 or more and almost all were white. The drugs are not a problem to just the inner city kids, it effects the poor, rich, suburban, and most minority groups. Every American is affected by drug problems. Also if marijuana is legalized there will be new tax revenue. The government would get a lot of money from sales of marijuana. The government would also make more money because they could charge any amount of money for it, and knowing them there will be a lot of impurities like they did with cigarettes. The Police Point of View The police look at it from a lot of different perspectives. One of their perspectives has to do with money. They spend millions and millions of dollars each year in drug enforcement. Perhaps they have not considered that when they make drug busts, a percent of that money goes to their department. So in a way the money is evened out from spending the money on enforcement, they get their money back when

Benito Cereno essays After reading Herman Melvilles Benito Cereno, it is clear to me that Melville views the institution of slavery as a cruel and inhumane act. Slavery is the evil of the story. The slaves on the San Dominick rebelled because they were treated cruelly. It is wrong for one person to own another and look down upon them and treat them poorly. Evil seems to breed evil, and therefore, the slaves revolted with violence. In the story there are two captains; Benito Cereno and Captain Delano. Cereno is captain of the San Dominick, and although he is the captain of the ship which holds the slaves, he is truly a good man. He too seems to be a victim of evil. The slaves rebellious behavior turned him into a very edgy and nervous man. Although he may not seem like a good guy, Cereno showed his goodness when he jumped into Delanos boat to warn him of the danger that lied ahead for his crew and himself. Delano is alo a simple, good-hearted man. He is a good captain and runs his ship well. While on the other hand it seems that Cereno does not have that much experience. That is why Delano immediately went and offered his assistance to Cereno when he saw the San Dominick aimlessly wandering about the waters. Delano does not always see things as they really are because he is a very naive person, and it is because of this trait that he does not really realize all that is happening aboard the San Dominick. At the times when he did have a suspicion about the happenings of the ship, he would just tell himself he was being silly and forget about it. After he actually realized the chaos that was happening aboard Cerenos ship, Delano sent his crew to take down the slaves, and it is he who saved Cereno and the ship. ...

It will investigate any ways in which the works reflect or challenge commonly held social representations of femininity, and will compare and contrast each representation of femininity and then investigate any themes. It will also consider the counterpoint of masculine representation, and lastly the limitations of a comparison between two texts of different disciplines. These two titles were products of very different cultures; Pygmalion was written in 1912 by the thoroughly British Bernard Shaw, a self-proclaimed feminist, while WSS was written in 1966 by Jean Rhys, a Caribbean Creole (like her main characters) who immigrated to England in her teens. These texts were not intended to be textbooks, or represent any views other than the authors, but by comparing these texts we may find how the ideas of femininity have changed in the intervening years. Shaw's feminism might be expected to have influenced his portrayal of the female characters in his work, so the reader should be aware of a possible feminist subtext. WSS is set in the Caribbean of the 1830's, and was written for a primarily English audience. The author might therefore be expected to emphasise or exaggerate certain aspects of the story to increase the dramatic effect of alienation between the reader and the faraway subject and so the depictions may not be entirely accurate. Both of these works manifest stereotypes of passive women and male figures of authority, as might be expected from works set around the Victorian period. Pygmalion reflects these beliefs to a degree, as Eliza is dominated by the male characters, and especially Professor Higgins, during the three acts of the play. Her own father reflects Victorian values in that he feels able to sell her to Higgins, without her knowledge or consent. However, the play challenges these beliefs by having Eliza leave and stand up to Higgins during the last two acts. The play was also rather daring for the day in casting a common flower girl as the heroine, and refusing the play a conventional romantic ending in which the heroine marries the hero. Class and gender are inseparable, as evidenced by Higgins' continued reference to the ‘gutter' Eliza came from. There is also the suggestion that the only thing separating the flower girl from the duchess is their educations. WSS mostly reflects Victorian female stereotypes, as the women are treated by the men as extensions of their property; Annette has to beg her husband for money, and Antoinette is forced to sign all her possessions over when she marries. The few single women are portrayed as being ‘outsiders' in various ways; Christophine is from a different island, and feared because she practices obeah; while Amelie, contemptuous of the white people she serves, is an outsider in their company. There are many different representations of femininity in these works, and I feel the best way the explore femininity in these works will be to analyse the female characters relationships, and will analyse first the ways the femininity of the main characters is represented in each. In Pygmalion, Eliza's femininity is highlighted firstly by her work; she is referred to in the play at first as simply ‘The Flower Girl', and is shown to use her gender to exploit the presumed chivalrous nature of the men; she deceitfully tells Pickering she's ‘short for my lodgings', despite having previously said she could change half a crown. There are also repeated worries that Eliza is or could become a prostitute; Eliza herself recognises this, by her statements that she is ‘a good girl'. After all, at the start of her training Eliza's aim is to work in a flower shop, yet there is no obvious position ready for her, and when her training is complete she feels unable go back to selling flowers on street corners. Antoinette, the main female character in Wide Sargasso Sea, is represented as being somewhat submissive throughout the novel. The first part is told from her point of view, and is characterised by very little reference to her thoughts and feelings; she mostly seems to ‘go with the flow'. For example, when the Coulibri estate is set on fire she barely reacts except to do as she's told, and lets her family deal with it. After this, Antoinette is bullied and teased; she does not retaliate, but instead runs away as soon as she can. Antoinette's vulnerability is the mirror image of the tough, practical Tia and sensible Christophine, which is an example of how femininity is depicted differently between the women of different races. The white figures in the Caribbean are generally depicted as being somewhat out of place and cast off, while the black characters are part of a larger and more naturally-developed community – Antoinette is unable to make any real friends, as the white community has not been able to integrate with the black; whereas the local black settlement is almost able to turn the burning of the Coulibri estate into a village outing. This reflects a theme of ‘belonging', either to a home or in society, and also a loss of that place. For example, Annette is driven (or appears to be) insane after the loss of her family home. The first reference to Antoinette acting insane comes when she loses the sense of belonging to her estate; after her husband sleeps with the servant Amelie, he perceives her as having a ‘crazy laugh'. This sense of loss is analogous to Eliza's loss of identity and social class, as by the end of her training she has effectively lost her previous identity. Eliza's turning point in the story, where she starts to stand up to Higgins, comes just completing her training and winning Higgins' bet. This is the point where she would be starting her new life, and so it makes sense for her to break off from Higgins. Next I will study the various familial relationships between the female characters. I will begin by analysing the representation of motherhood, a strongly represented relationship in both works. The two main characters in each book each come from essentially single-parent families. In WSS, Antoinette is depicted as being rather attention-starved by her mother Annette, which might explain her hunger for affection with her husband later. This seems similar to her husbands' relationship with her father, whom he feels has disinherited him; but he reacts by masking his emotions, and seems to feel a loving relationship is unnatural. Antoinette does not display any real affection of her own towards her family, and never mentions playing with either her mother or her brother. Higgins seems to have had a similar relationship with his mother in Pygmalion, to whom he displays an almost infantile attachment. Eliza's father seems to have dominated her at home, given his references to beating her; A recurring theme in both works is the female characters' dependence on men, and the expectation that the men will provide for them. Eliza is dependent on Professor Higgins for her transformation, and on Colonel Pickering for the money to open her flower shop later on. The women in Wide Sargasso Sea are mostly represented as being somewhat helpless, and there are many examples of the female characters being ‘saved' by men or needing a male presence in their lives: for example, the family is only rescued from poverty when Annette marries Richard Mason, and later on, Antoinette is saved from bullies by her cousin Sandi. So in Pygmalion, the female characters are mostly independent from men, while the opposite is true in WSS. However, So Pygmalion's plot has a more obvious feminist subtext than WSS, which is indicative of the different representations of femininity in the cultures that made these texts. However, the way Higgins treats Eliza is anything but feministic; and Shaw seems to be biased in favour of his male characters; all the best lines seem reserved for Higgins. It could also be argued that the uncaring and abusive nature of the men in WSS demonstrate why Rhys felt it was important to protect the rights of women. However, there are inherent limitations to an interdisciplinary approach such as this. A play is designed to be viewed in a very different way to a novel, and while WSS presents a concrete and defined world, Pygmalion as a play is open to interpretation. There are many different ways of performing the text that could destroy the delicate feminist subtext; for example, at the end of the film My Fair Lady, based on Pygmalion, Eliza quietly returns to Higgins, who asks her to fetch his slippers – the opposite of Shaw's intentions.

Rostrum, As Used in Marine Life The term rostrum is defined as an organism’s beak or a beak-like part. The term is used in reference to cetaceans, crustaceans and some fish.   The plural form of this word is rostra. Cetacean Rostrum In cetaceans, the rostrum is  the upper jaw or â€Å"snout† of the whale. According to the Encyclopedia of Marine Mammals, the term  rostrum  also refers to the skull bones in the whale that provide support for the rostrum. Those are the forward (anterior) parts of the maxillary, premaxillary and vomerine bones. Essentially, it is made up of the bones we have between the bottom of our nose and our upper jaw, but the bones are much longer in cetaceans, especially baleen whales.   Rostrums look different in toothed whales (odontocetes) versus baleen whales (mysticetes). The toothed whales have a rostrum that is usually dorsally concave, while baleen whales have a rostrum that is ventrally concave.   More simply put, the top part of a toothed whales rostrum is shaped more like a crescent moon, while a baleen whales rostrum is shaped more like an arch. The differences in rostrum structure become pretty evident when viewing images of cetacean skulls, as is shown in the FAO identification guide here. The rostrum in a cetacean is a strong, relatively hard part of the anatomy. Dolphins can even use their rostra to   Crustacean Rostrum In a crustacean, the rostrum is the projection of the animals carapace that extends forward of the eyes. It projects from the cephalothorax, which is present in some crustaceans and is the head and thorax together, covered by a carapace. The rostrum is a hard, beak-like structure.   In a lobster, for example, the rostrum projects between the eyes. It looks like a nose, but it is not (lobster smell with their annentules, but thats another topic). Its function is thought to be simply to protect the lobsters eyes, especially when two lobsters have a conflict. It is necessary to differentiate the difference between what are microeconomic factors and what are macroeconomic factors, the micro level economic factors are something that the company can exercise some level of control and can influence this environment to a certain degree but macroeconomic factors are such in nature that the company is unable to influence them by any means what so ever. On the literally terms, micro means small level and macro means on a larger scale. (Wessels, 2000). There are many factors that affect any company both on the micro as well as the macroeconomic level and it is of essence that companies realize these factors and potential factors so that they can survive in the long term, these factors are divided into two parts one is the consumers and the other is the company itself. (Samuelson, 2001). The microeconomic factors that affect a company or a product are Price: price is one of the single most if not the most important factor to be considered by the company in terms of microeconomic factors that affect the company. Price of a good determines the market share, what target market the product is trying to tap in to and how much of the good is going to be demanded and how much of it is going to be supplied by the company. (Samuelson, 2001). The price of a good determines if the consumers think that the product is worth buying or even worth contemplating upon, if prices are irrational for example a pie for $250 then the demand is almost certainly going to be negligible if not non-existent for this kind of product. The price is and can be influenced by the company by managing its supply effectively. Another important consideration that needs to be taken care of is the competitive prices in the economy for example if Honda Accord is priced between $18000-$20000 then the Toyota Camry needs to be priced in the similar range because they are ve ry close competitors in the US market, if Honda Accord prices its product lower than the Toyota Camry then it is almost certainly going to be able to get a larger pie of the target market given that all other things are kept constant or ceteris paribus rule applies. Opportunity Cost: The consideration of opportunity cost is extremely important when one talks about microeconomic factors, if Toyota Camry increases its prices then people would have to give up more money in order to purchase the same good i.e. their opportunity costs goes higher. (Wessels, 2000). This is where the concept of value for ones money steps in, if Camry is charging its customers $18000 then its value or its perceived value should be worth $18000 to the customer or else the customer would spend the $18000 where he or she deems that they would be much better spent. This is where the concept of studying the consumer comes in. (Lipsey, 2002). The concepts of price elasticity comes in here as well, if a small positive change in the price of Camry decreases the units demanded for Camry then Camry is highly price elastic but if the change in price only results in a small change in the units demanded then it is inelastic and it can afford to increase its prices. (Samuelson, 2001) . Cross elasticity is where Honda Accord decreases its prices and it affects the sales of the Toyota Camry, in this case it would be highly cross elastic but if no change or only a very minute change occurs then it is not cross elastic. Consumer Behavior: Consumers are people that eventually make or break a company, this is why they need to be studied and understood because they are a very potent force as far as the business is concerned. (Samuelson, 2001). Camry should understand what the consumers are looking for when they are making a decision to buy a car, is it safety? Is it durability? Is the fuel efficiency? Or is it all of the things mentioned before? When these questions have been answered and Camry has decided what market segment it is going to be in then it needs to position itself accordingly. Once this has been taken care of the company would then need to communicate what it stands for to the consumer (Glass, 2010) so that the consumer understands what the company is offering and matches the benefits that are being offered to the prices that are being demanded and make the decision whether to buy or not. (Lipsey, 2002). Another consideration that is extremely important for Toyota is that the costs of the cars that it is manufacturing should be at the lowest levels possible so that it gets the highest possible profits from each unit that is sold. How can the costs be controlled? There are a variety of factors into consideration when costs are involved, first of all Toyota should build strategic partnerships with all its vendors so that they are on board with the company strategy and are aware of what the company is trying to achieve. (Glass, 2010). Secondly it should increase the plant efficiency and also have a look at its processes and implement cost cutting measures where ever it can but most importantly the workers have to be trained to be efficient so that they are on board with the companyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s policies as well. (Samuelson, 2001). If the costs are too high for Toyota then certainly so would be the prices of Camry and hence this would render the product unsuccessful because competi tive brand would be able to capture a larger market share and may also be able to drive Camry out of business. Competition as highlighted above always has bearings on the company and its decisions and hence in a microeconomic environment the company has to keep a tab on the competition as well and analyze what they are doing and be able to predict what their next move is going to be and try to be one step ahead of the competition at all times (Glass, 2010), although the company cannot influence its competition directly but it can take measures that can affect the competition in a positive as well as a negative fashion. (Donburch, 1988). For example if Honda announces that it would launch a an Accord in 2012 that would be extremely fuel efficient but at the same time it would be able to break the sound barrier, then Toyota has to come up with a product that is equivalent to that Accord if not better. The second part of this paper deals with factors at the macroeconomic level, these factors are beyond the control of any of the firms and these are in a way given or handed down by the state of the economy and are largely dependent on the government policies and the economic structure that is prevalent in the environment that the company is operating in, for example Toyota Corporation in the US would not be able to determine the exchange rate of the dollar because that is more dependent on the US governments policies and the decisions that are taken within the economic environment by that government. Interest rates: Interest rates in an economy determine whether people are going to save more or spend more, when the interest rates are high people would prefer to save rather than spend but if the interest rates are low in the economy then people would prefer to spend their money rather than save it. Employment: Employment or the ability of the workforce to fulfill the requirements of the Toyota Corporation is another important element. Toyota cannot train the whole workforce or it cannot provide for itself employees all by itself, the government has to provide for the people basic education and training (Donburch, 1988) so there is enough work-force available to work for the Toyota Corporation. Business cycles or cyclical trends of the economy also have a bearing on the Toyota Corporation for example economy can experience growth and it can also experience stagnation and this would directly affect the sales of the Toyota Camry but this is something that the company has no control over and is not able to influence it. Inflation is another important element when talking about macroeconomic factors, inflation is the general increase in the price levels within an economy (Donburch, 1988) and if prices increase then the costs for Toyota also would increase and some of these costs or in some cases all of it would be transferred on to the customers of the company. Conclusion In conclusion, both macro and micro levels have an important bearing on the company but at the micro level the company should influence the factors in its favor and at the macro level the company should be able to predict the future trends and be adaptive.
